The New England Revolution have their hands full at Gillette Stadium this afternoon with the LA Galaxy coming to town. The Galaxy are currently sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference, combining an excellent defense (second only to the Revs in goals conceded) with a potent offense (21 goals scored).
The Galaxy will be without two key players, however, as Robbie Keane and Omar Gonzalez are away on national team duty. They still have Landon Donovan, Robbie Rogers, Juninho, and plenty of other high-quality players, though, so the tas will be far from simple for New England.
With the Revs on a bit of a run here, this match will be a good opportunity to see how the boys in blue measure up against the league's best. It's one thing to put the Torontos of the league to the sword; it's another thing entirely to take down a titan like LA.
