Good morning, TBM faithful. I am not a happy camper today. My car is giving me all sorts of grief and I want to take a Louisville slugger to it. It's a piece of crap anyway, but it's acting particularly like a piece of crap right now.

That has brought me to my question for today's open thread: have you ever had car trouble? What are some of your memorable instances of vehicular quandaries, and how did you react to your ornery automobile?
