Revolution vs. Sounders 2013: Live Match Thread

The Revolution take on the Sounders at 4 PM EST in Seattle.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

This is one of those weird games where you really aren't sure how to approach it. The New England Revolution are at the bottom of the East, about to take on a Seattle Sounders side that's hungry for its first win of the year. Under normal circumstances, holding a 0-0 draw would be a fantastic result.

But then, the Revs haven't scored since their first game back in March. That's one goal in four games. They stand at 1-2-1, and any evidence of improvement in offense is something that will be sought after desperately. So here we have the quandary, where we really want to see the Revs attack and do some exciting things offensively, but the intelligent result to hope for is a scoreless draw featuring solid defense.

I'm not really sure what to think, either. I guess we'll find out when the game starts, right? That's soccer, I suppose. Oh, and Saer Sene's on the bench, so there's that.
