Boston-Area SB Nation Blogs Meet-Up On March 10th at Game On! UPDATED

We've been around for a few years now, and we feel we've developed good relationships with a lot of you. You know who we haven't always developed good relationships with? The other Boston bloggers on the network. Now, here's a chance for all of us to get together, talk sports, and "develop relationships" (re: drink a lot) with each other and all the other Boston SB Nation bloggers and readers at Game On! in Fenway! UPDATE: FREE BEER!!!!

It's no secret here at The Bent Musket that we love you, our readers. We put time and effort into this place because we want to bring you quality content, and we like to hear your opinions. I know for me personally, nothing is more rewarding than being out somewhere in RI or in Mass and finding a TBM reader with whom I can shoot the breeze, or even take criticism.

To this point, though, I don't think we've done enough to reach out to the wider community that reads and comments with us. Another area where we've been deficient has been in working with the other Boston-area blogs on SB Nation. You may not have known this, but the Red Sox (Over the Monster), Bruins (Stanley Cup of Chowder), Patriots (Pats Pulpit), Celtics (Celtics Blog), and BC Eagles (BC Interruption) are all represented on the network.

Now we're going to kill two birds with one stone. In conjunction with Game On!, we've set up a Boston-Area SB Nation Blogs Meet-up for Sunday, March 10th! We'll have access to the Fenway batting cages (for serious) and Game On! is providing light complimentary appetizers. Here are the nuts and bolts:

Date: Sunday, March 10th, 2013

Time: 1:00 PM start, with batting cage availability from 2 PM - 4 PM

Where?: Game On! at 82 Lansdowne St., Boston, MA (across from the Cask and Flagon at Fenway Park, if you don't know)

Who?: Bloggers and readers from TBM, Over the Monster, Stanley Cup of Chowder, Pats Pulpit, Celtics Blog, and BC Interruption.

The event will be 21+ (sorry my underage friends), and should be a really good time. At the very least, you'll probably get plenty of good blackmail material on Corey and me when we embarrass ourselves royally both in the cages and at the bar. Feel free to make yourself some name tags and such so we can identify each other (I plan to) and hopefully we'll see you all there!

UPDATE: Fancred has graciously offered to buy drinks for the first 50 people through the door at Game On, starting at 1 PM! FREE. BEER. BE THERE!!!!!!
