70th Minute Update: Tempers Flare, Rain Subsides, Still No Goals

In true New England Revolution vs. Houston Dynamo fashion, tonight's match has gotten particularly chippy, and at times, downright physical.

While the rain has subsided, neither side has yet to find the opening goal, although both teams have gone close. New England almost found the opener through some solid play from Fernando Cardenas, who found space on the left flank and sent a near-perfect cross to Jerry Bengtson, but the Honduran's header was just wide of the Dynamo net.

The temperature of the match picked up a bit in the 62nd minute when players from both sides got a little hot under the collar jockeying for position while lining up for a free kick. After players from both sides were separated, it was Dimitry Imbongo and Will Bruin earning matching yellow cards for their actions.

The match continues to feel a little harried and sloppy, however with the rain now passed, perhaps both teams will find better footing and produce an exciting finish.
