The teams participating in the Marcus Tracy lottery tomorrow morning have been confirmed, and it looks like the New England Revolution are part of a field of eight total teams. Happily, the New England Revolution have the highest possible chance of landing the former Wake Forest standout, rolling in with a 33.2% chance in the lottery.
As it stands now, the Revs will be competing against the following teams:
-
FC Dallas 19.7%
- Philadelphia Union 16.8%
- Real Salt Lake 9.7%
-
Chicago Fire 7.8%
-
New York Red Bulls 6.1%
-
San Jose Earthquakes 4.6%
-
Seattle Sounders 2.1%
I'm not sure if that's the order; I based it off of the math I did before to determine club chances. That math, by the way, could be wrong; I am only human, and it was a lot of moving parts and mind-numbing clicking to do, tracking down everyone's results. However, looking at the point totals of the teams involved, I have to assume that the Revs' 33.2% chance is far and away the highest, far outstripping the other seven.
Edit: MLS release teams and numbers. I have adjusted accordingly.
The lottery is set to take place on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM EST.
