AC Milan vs. Olimpia: International Friendly Live Game Thread

There's a New England Revolution game on tonight at 7:30, but Kraft Soccer has seen fit to make this Saturday viewing experience a bit unique by bringing us a double-header. Italian giants AC Milan will take on Honduran powerhouse CD Olimpia at Gillette Stadium, kicking off at 4:30 PM EST.

Milan is still in preseason mode, but with only a month or so until the start of the Serie A season, they will be looking to hone their match fitness after conceding the league title to bitter rivals Juventus in the 2011-2012 campaign. It's been an interesting transfer window for i rossoneri, as they sent key players Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG, while their only notable incoming signing was Italy international Riccardo Montolivo.

Olimpia is coming off of a successful season where they won the 2011-2012 Honduran Apertura tournament. Olimpia is the most successful team in Honduras as far as domestic competitions are concerned; their 25 league titles is a whopping 13 more than their nearest competitors, Jerry Bengtson's former club Motagua. Also featured on Olimpia's roster is a familiar face to MLS fans: former D.C. United striker and designated player Luciano Emilio, who is in the midst of his third stint with the club.

Both teams brought strong rosters to Foxboro for this match. When final lineups are released, we'll have them for you along with the live blog after the jump!
