European Championships 2012: Live Thread Day 2, Netherlands-Denmark and Germany-Portugal

It's day two of the 2012 European Championships, the first day for Group B play. For those of you who don't know, Group B is known as the Group of Death, featuring the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, and Portugal, all four of whom are ranked in the world top-10.
