It's the Tuesday before a weekend off, and we all know what that means: news is sloooooooooooow. This week especially I'll probably be drawing heavily on news from outside Foxboro and New England just to fill the Rounds and make sure you guys stay captivated and informed. In other news, today's my birthday! Hooray! I'm a quarter-century old, and it feels weird to say that.
Anyways, the Rounds.

Rolfe returns to MLS, Chicago Fire - Soccer By Ives
The Chicago Fire have re-signed Chris Rolfe, who was recently overseas at Aalborg. Could he be a key piece? I don't know, but he's one of the top scorers in Fire history, and he's only 29, so I can't say this is a bad move for them. Makes the East that much more treacherous for the Revs.
Marquez-Salinas incident angers Quakes, action expected | MLSsoccer.com
I can't say this enough: I can't STAND Rafa Marquez. I may hate him. And I always feel hate is a strong word for someone who has never done anything that directly affects you. But, seriously.
Adu: I just want to be an impact player with Union | MLSsoccer.com
I'm linking Union/Freddy Adu news because, I have to confess, I've always been a Freddy Adu fan. I truly hope he can realize even a fraction of his once-vaunted potential. He'd be an automatic selection for the USMNT through like 2022 or something if he could.
