Overall, it was a rough weekend in soccer, especially for New England Revolution fans. A home loss to D.C. United is never fun, especially when it comes in the final ten minutes of an otherwise-decent performance on the whole. Beyond that, the whole football world was rocked by yet another cardiac incident on a professional pitch, but unlike the Muamba scare, this one didn't have a happy ending. Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini collapsed in the midst of a Serie B match and was pronounced dead at the hospital. All of us, as soccer fans, are in mourning.
