Musket Rounds: Trialists, Tierney, Expansion, And More

Getty Images

Midweek during the offseason is usually full of slow news days, especially in Foxborough, and this week has been no exception. The biggest news to come out of New England Revolution camp since their arrival in Tucson is the list of new trialists who have joined the squad in hopes of making the final roster cut. There has been other news elsewhere, though, as Don Garber continues to tease the anxious masses about the 20th expansion team, this time entertaining Orlando City as a destination, even though he's almost certain to force a second team in New York no matter how much sense it doesn't make.

The Revs will kick off the Desert Diamond Cup in Tucson tonight at 8 PM against the Los Angeles Galaxy. The match will be streamed live on MLSsoccer.com, and we should have a live thread going so don't forget to join us later and follow along!
