Revolution vs. Fire: Live Game Thread (Part III)

Only two games left before the Revs close the book on their 2012 season. Tonight's match is New England's home closer, and fans will certainly be hoping to enter the off-season on a high note with a win tonight against the Fire.

The New England Revolution will close out their home account tonight at Gillette Stadium against the red hot Chicago Fire, who are looking to improve upon their already impressive 2012 record as they prepare for the MLS playoffs. With eight players occupying their most recent injury report, the suspension of midfielder Benny Feilhaber, and the international absences of strikers Diego Fagundez and Jerry Bengtson, the Revs are looking pretty thin heading into this matchup.

The Revolution currently sit in 8th place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 7-17-8, only 1 point better than their 2011 season finish. Jay Heaps and his staff have plenty of questions heading into the upcoming off-season, but perhaps they can attempt to answer some of those questions with a strong, convincing finish to their season.

Below you can find tonight’s lineups and of course our Live Game Chat…

Revolution XI: Shuttleworth; Guy, Barnes, Soares, Alston; Rowe, Gavin, Simms, Fagundez; Bengtson, Imbongo
