Welcome to the New England Revolution vs. Seattle Sounders live game thread! The Revs should be well-rested tonight with eight days gone since their 1-1 draw with the Chicago Fire last week. The Sounders, meanwhile, are in the midst of a difficult three-game six-day swing after their 4-2 thriller with New York on Thursday.

The key for the Revolution tonight is to hold nothing back. After gaining just two points from their last home stand (where they faced two of the worst teams in the league), the only way to salvage this season is to start picking up three points in as many games as possible, home or away. CenturyLink Field (formerly Qwest) is never an easy place to go and get a result but, unfortunately, the Revs' backs are against the wall and they have to do what they can to claw back up in the standings.

In place of game notes, I'll instead leave you with this little tidbit: The Revs are one of only three teams in MLS history with a winning record against the Sounders.
