The New England Revolution will head into Sunday's season opener with a clean bill of health, according to the most recent injury report.
During preseason, veterans Chris Tierney and Daigo Kobayashi dealt with minor knocks. Both players are now fully healthy and are expected to be available for selection. Tierney is likely to start at left back, while Kobayashi will probably start on the bench.
The Houston Dynamo aren't as lucky as the Revs as they are dealing with a few injuries. Collen Warner (hamstring) and Sheanon Williams (hamstring) listed as out while starting goalkeeper Tyler Deric (abdominal strain) is doubtful. Ricardo Clark (hamstring) and Rob Lovejoy (hamstring) are both questionable.
The injury reports certainly favor the Revolution as head coach Jay Heaps will be able to build his ideal starting lineup. This includes newly acquired right back Je-Vaughn Watson, who said he was ready to play if called upon.
Kickoff between the Revs and Dynamo is set for 3 PM EST on Sunday.
