The New England Revolution have long had a standard navy home jersey and white away kit, but that might be about to change.
Revs President Brian Bilello has hinted that the Revs 2015 away kit would not be primarily white, and now we have our first look from Footy Headlines.

OK, I'll refrain from making anymore jokes about how Major League Soccer doesn't need another blue, white or red jersey, but there's a lot to like here. The white panels are interesting and breaks up the red nicely although I think the jersey could've used a little more green trim despite the increase in Christmas and holiday related jokes it would cause.
What we don't know is the shorts and socks that go to this jersey or the color of the numbers and graphics on the back. Green numbers could really add a unique element and color scheme to the league overall.
The Revs will carry over their Navy home kit from 2014 but this will surely be a nice change of pace for a team that is usually fairly tame when it comes to jerseys. The long beloved Flag of New England has been embraced by the supporters and if this jersey could is a good start of what could be several inspired by the Revolutionary War flag.
