With the 2014 MLS draft just two weeks away the Revs still have gaping holes to fill, most notably up top. Our first two picks are high enough in the draft (12, 19) that we can pick up some real quality. I have my eyes set on Marlon Hairston, a tough center midfielder who reminds me of a young Shalrie Joseph (and not just because of his hair). He moves the ball quickly, dominates in the air, looks composed, and is comfortable going forward. I could see this pick happening as he is yet another Lousville athlete who has played alongside our newest addition Paolo Del Piccolo. I personally don't feel as though Dorman or Caldwell is the answer going forward in the defense midfield role. I would also love to see us land a talented center forward but it looks like Mullins, Neumann, Larin, and Schuma may all be off the board before were on the clock.
