Food for thought:
The Seattle Sounders are apparently shopping Eddie Johnson around to the league (according to this article on MLSsoccer.com - http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2013/11/13/report-seattle-sounders-shopping-around-enigmatic-forward-eddie-johnson). Should the Revs bite? I am not sure what it would take in a trade or what Seattle would want back (allocation money, a player, or a combination thereof).
Who knows if Johnson would even want to play on the Gillette turf. He's 29, scored 9 goals for the Sounders in 21 games and also gets called up regularly for the USMNT. As the Revs are losing Agudelo, I think this is one way (maybe not the best) that the Revs could possibly replace him.
Thoughts on Johnson and the Revs? Does Burns even make an inquiry? Do the Revs make an offer?
