New England Revolution vs. FC Dallas: Live Game Thread

Welcome to the New England Revolution vs. FC Dallas live game thread! Tonight the Revs will look to defend their home turf against one of the league's top title contenders. They will be trying to put the disappointment of losing a 4-1 lead on Wednesday in Philadelphia behind them and get back to winning ways before an ostensibly friendly home crowd.

Also, tonight is the night the Revolution chose to remember the tragedy of 9/11 and honor the nation's servicemen and women. Festivities in the parking lot and concourse have been ongoing, and the supporters' groups of the Fort have planned their own demonstration between the ninth and eleventh minutes.

Lineups and your comments after the jump.

NICE from Shalrie

Clever move from Milton, excellent cross from Zerka. Fantastic work.

Awful organization in defense there

Coria and Soares need to communicate better

Wow

Excellent non-shot from Brek. Horrible angle, long-distance, drifted it into the far corner when a cross would have been easier.

There's a Bobby Rhine banner up

The small handful of traveling Dallas fans have it along the far tunnel. “Bobby Rhine: #19 for Dallas, Number One In Our Hearts.” Classy, I like it.

Not a whole lot of excitement right now

Lots of near-chances and almost-shots, but that’s it.

Dallas goal is coming

Revs haven’t had a sniff of the ball since the 20th minute.

Despite being up

Not a great half. Shalrie has looked poor aside from the goal. Possession stat can’t be good.

Unexpected

Shea is off for Jeremy Hall. I know the kid needs rest, but he’s missing next game due to yellow card accumulation anyway
